President's Message

The New York City Pitt Club was established with a mission to support the University of Pittsburgh and enrich the lives of alumni, specifically those that live in the greatest city in America - outside of Pittsburgh of course!  With thousands of Alumni living and working within miles of each other, the goal of the NYC Pitt Club is to foster awareness about the success of the University and provide a forum that allows alumni and friends of the University to remain connected. By working closely with the Pitt Alumni Association, we support the University by raising funds to provide an annual scholarship to local student; we build upon the network of the Pitt Alumni Association and aim to increase its membership; we support athletic events when the Panthers play in the area such as the Maggie Dixon Classic and the Big East Men's Basketball Championship; and we provide opportunities for members of the club to network with each which can be utilized as a powerful career resource.

The NYC Pitt Club gathers throughout the year for special events, game watches, happy hours and community service projects. I encourage all alumni, students, friends, fans and supporters of the University of Pittsburgh to become involved in the Club and together we can continue to enjoy our proud affiliation with the University of Pittsburgh and help increase its accomplishments and future successes.
